OUR VISION
Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ is a community of faith centered in
God's grace. With Jesus Christ as our example and the leading of the Holy Spirit,
we seek to
- be inviting and accepting of all people,
- respect and encourage each other's faith journey,
- be a witness of Christ's love and compassion,
- further justice and peace in this church, in the local community, and the world.
We are called to
- celebrate God,
- discern God's will,
- be disciples of Christ,
- live and proclaim the Gospel,
- use the gifts we are given to learn and teach the Christian way of life,
- share from our abundance and care for those in need, and
- empower and equip people for ministry.
OUR WELCOMING AND AFFIRMING STATEMENT
We, the members of Pilgrim Congregational United Church of Christ, extend
our invitation and welcome to all who wish to take part in the mission and
ministry of this congregation, and affirm all persons of every race, gender,
age, sexual orientation, disability, marital status or socio-economic status
as children of God.
